1. Do you pay attention to the real world correlations to the randland countries?
Not really, since they don't have much to do with anything, aside from knowing how the accents sound.2. Have you ever wondered why all Seanchan seem to be described as having a drawling accent, even though they're from all over a second continent, and so should have multiple accents?
I think that'sjust for wetlanders. I'm pretty sure Karede or Egeannin or someone like that mentions distinctions, just as they also descibe a wide range of complexions (as opposed to the BWB's persistant Oriental look).3. If you have to be Cairhienin or Domani, which would you be, and why?
Domani, because then you're not as likely to be short.4. Of the currently existing Borderlands, which would you most enjoy being a citizen of?
The one with the most lax security on their southern border.5. Of the historic nations (the 10 nations or any of the other fallen nations), which would you be from?
Safer. They kicked even Manetheren's ass.6. If you had to be from Tear or Illian, which would you be from?
Depends how high I was born. High aristocracy, then Tear, definitely. Otherwise, probably Illian.7. You are a man (just for this question) and have to marry a woman from WoT. Which nation would you go wife-hunting in?
Aiel. They're taller, and have better prenatal care, both of which suggests strong sons. Also domestic violence is not only permitted, but they fight back like people with guts, instead of whining about it. And an Aiel wife comes with a house.8. As a non-channeling woman, would you prefer to live in Tar Valon or Amadicia?
Amadicia any day. The ruling class is kept in its place by an egalitarian meritocracy, and you don't have to pay to live or work in buildings designed for exterior aesthetics. Imagine what a pain in the ass it must be to run a business from a shop designed to look like some stupid nature scene that might totally clash with the image you are trying to project, and you have no choice other than send for imported workmen from hundreds of miles away, or suffer. You know they aren't going to be too keen on casual renovations or putting on additions that make your giant stone animal look like it has a box growing out of its ass. It makes a pretty sight for tourists (in a time where tourism is a non-viable industry), but that kind of place would be a pain in the ass for trying to fit normal lives around. 9. Would you prefer to be from part of the globe unclaimed by any country (like the Caralain Grass) or from a part that's claimed, but never sees their monarch (the Two Rivers)?
The former. Then you never have to worry about a monarch suddenly getting a bug up her ass about your de facto secession. 10. What is your theory on the origin of the Seafolk? Are they connected to dai'shain aiel from the AoL, or are they simply the descendants of the lucky people who were able to get to a boat during the Breaking?
They are all but stated outright to be the latter. The Amayar are a seperate people, and the Sea Folk don't even seem ot hold them as a breakaway group or anything. In any case, the Water Way almost certainly came about in reaction to the chaos of the times, possibly inspired by memories of the Aiel, but if they were remnants, I think they'd have maintained something closer to the Aiel's Way of the Leaf. 11. Why do you think Seanchan Ogier who serve in the Empress's Deathwatch Guards are called "Gardeners?"
Oh, I can't see any reason why people with an affinity for plants would be called that! There might be some cool military legend about a bunch of landscapers who took up arms to defend the person of the Empress who had hired them to spruce up the palace grounds, but even if not, their racial nature makes it obvious.12. How many Malkieri do you expect to answer Nynaeve's call?
A few thousand.13. What do you think of the Andoran system of Royalty that determines fitness to rule by connection to one common ancestor?
That's hardly an indication of fitness, merely of presumed right to inherit the position that ancestor created.
