I must admit, it could refer to Fain or Slayer, but the consequences of the Moridin/Rand link messing up Fain's radar is very intriguing.
Still, with Lan in there, a Slayer (Isam) POV might also be interesting.
Perrin is the new Elayne. Look dude, I know you just want to be a blacksmith, but get a damn spine already.
Invasion on the blight sounds like Ituralde again.
The Galad scene, shows promise, mabye we get the whole Morgase, Dain/Perrin thing wrapped up right there. And possibly Balwer in the open as well. And Berelain. It would be nice if that got wrapped up quickly.
The harm could be Perrin's group (no doubt Darkfriends who fought with the Seanchan, or Dragonsworn. Either way, Galad would see them as enemies.
Still, Lan's first PoV in the main sequence books should be a good one. If many other Borderlander's like Fanwar have ridden to the blight to fight, Lan may be in better shape than most imagine. And holding back hordes of Trollocs and Fades from human settlements is hardly a pointless death. It's what Borderlander's do.

Good to know, even though I'll probably skip it and wait for the full book. *NM*

My money's on Slayer or perhaps Moridin rather than Fain.

Is it just me, or does "Distinctions" rank as the flattest-sounding prologue title to date? *NM*

"Another" meaningless bloodbath? Aren't most people annoyed at the lack of such thus far? *NM*
