If Callandor is not a sword (even though it looks like one) perhaps it is a Shield.
The Sword that Can Not be Touched has been touched by several people.
Perhaps it can not be touched by the True Power? Or the One Power.
The Balefire Weave parted and passed on each side of it in one of the battles.
Or perhaps a Well? It has no buffer to limit the amount of power drawn by the user when used as a (Ter(Sa) Angreal.
The optical effect is to pick up any light and scatter it.
Maybe does the same with other types of energy?
Many other thoughts regarding the contradiction that is Callandor's name.
Any thoughts? Corrections, Refutations, Counterpoints or Contrariwise?

Nice? I thought "lovely" was referring to "comeliness", not personality.
