The problem is, none of those groups mean much because they aren't channelers. And nobody will be surprised when Taim's asha'man attack the good guys (readers or Rand). The borderlander army all turning against Rand would also be unsurprising.
If suddenly 90% of the Aiel decided to fight against Rand's team, that would be a shock. But he'd still have channelers. Unless they are all tied up with the Black Tower at the time...
