Was that just an empty threat or a real promise?
Since Min viewed that Cadsuane was crucual for Rand, we know
she will be around him somehow, but will he kill her when

Depends on whether its pre or post dragonmount.
If Cadsuane had barged in on dark!Rand, who was carrying the CK access key in his pocket, Cadsuane would have quickly become a wet spot on the ground without doubt.
The post-dragonmount Rand might be willing to accept Cadsuane back, but personally I hope that in regaining his sanity he has also regained his backbone and is willing to make it clear to Cadsuane that she is only an advisor and that the far older and wiser LTT/Rand will no longer tolerate the kind of shenanigans that Cadsuane has been doing before.
