Wait a sec... This is an actual real documented Q/A where BS admitted it was specifically Elza who removed the wards? Can you show me the link to read that discussion?
I got that from Terez interview collection. He has a big collection of both RJ and BS answers from interviews, signings and so on. I would recommend reading it.

That particular quote was under "The Shadow, Darkfriends, and Shadowspawn". Just search for "box" if you want to go straight to that.
It still seems kinda funny that in one scene Sorilea asks to see the domination band and Cadsuane shows it to her by unraveling/breaking or otherwise removing the warding over it, just a few scenes later it's stolen. I didn't even see that Elza even knew the DB existed, let alone who had it, and it was invisible and it was inverted, and it could have been any kind of warding like exploding the room in fire or anything, yet one only one character is shown where it is and how to remove the ward and yet she is not responsible for it? It either seems like all fingers were meant to point to Sorilea as a red herring or she actually does work for the Shadow and at the minimum informed her masters about it, and she or they had Elza steal it.
Elza did not need to know about the DB, Shaidar Haran did and thats enough. It is possible that Sorilea is indeed a darkfriend and she informed the shadow of the precise location of the DB (Cadsuanes room), after which SH somehow told Elza how to break those wards and sent her there. But as I said earlier, it is not really required since Cadsuanes room is a pretty obvious place to look for the DB.
Remember, we have seen NO important darkfriend Aiel EVER. All the Aes Sedai have DF's even 2 of the former Keepers where. It makes total sense so would the Aiel and a weak channeler to boot, it's innocuous looking.
Well, the AS are lots more corrupt than the Aiel, and Ishy worked at them for quite a while so it is no surprise that there are lots more DF there than elsewhere. But yes, there are DF even amongst the Aiel and Sorilea is a potential candidate. However this particular incident does not offer any solid proof of this, since it could easily have all happened without her.
Does she have a motive? Yes, Rand is supposed to nearly destroy the Aiel, someone of the Aiel must not be to happy with that.
Except that the WO also know that Rand will save a remnant, while without him NONE will survive. So that motivation does not work at all since by destroying Rand, she would be destroying all hope for the Aiel.
She glanced at Mat, then said, "In this case, the whole truth, the truth known only to Wise Ones and clan chiefs before this, is that you are our doom. Our doom, and our salvation. Without you, none of our people will live beyond the last battle. Perhaps not even until the last battle. That is prophecy, and truth. With you , 'He shall spill out the blood of those who call themselves Aiel as water on sand and he shall break them as dried twigs, yet the remnant of a remnant shall he save, and they shall live.' A hard prophecy, but this has never been a gentle land." She met his gaze without flinching. A hard land, and a hard woman.
I think the evidence points at Sorilea still, or at least is meant to frame her. If Rand hadn't banished Cadsuane on the spot she might have mentioned that Sorilea was the only person besides her who knew that:
a) Cadsuane had the DB and CK
b) How to remove the warding.
It stands very likely that there must be a high ranking aiel DF close to Rand, as there has been an important DF of every other group close to either Rand (Dashiva, Elza, etc) or every group's leader (Sheriam, Alviarin, etc).
