While re-reading tGS, I came across the scene where Cadsuane meets up with her innkeeper informant in Bandar Eban. I think his name is Quillon? Regardless, twice during their conversation, Cadsuane makes sarcastic remarks that are clearly lies. She says that his inn "appears to be doing well" while she can clearly see that their are few patrons at that time. This instance could be argued because he does state that it is too busy for him alone and you could argue that she was speaking of the physical state of the inn or some such rubbish. But later, he mentions Aiel being in the city and she flatly stares at him and replies, "I hadn't noticed." I don't see how any amount Aes Sedai word wiggling could get around that statement.
Side note: I have previously put some theories on whether or not Moiraine is working undercover on the Black Ajah, ala Verin, or simply a darkfriend herself. I can't really see her being BA but she does say and do things that make me question. The most recent clue that I came across in my latest re-read (with my wife, yeah she makes me read to her) is in tSR when it is mentioned that there is no other way to duplicate the Rhuidean dragons. Her eyes widen at that comment, which we know is foreshadowing because Asmo and Lanfear help Couladin fake the dragons on his arms. What are your thoughts on these two scenes.

Yes. They only restrict you if what you perceive what you say as lying. *NM*

And don't forget that the Oaths can vary a lot depending on individual interpretation.
