Hmm not in any version of Christianity I have seen...as far as I know souls are created when a child is concieved in most forms of christianity. We don't really have a concept of reincarnation..need to check out the seventh sign haven't seen that.
6. Others you would like to suggest
Hmm. Well one thing you did not mention is Ishamaels threat to take Rands soul in TDR. Assuming that Ishy was not just making an empty threat (and the description of what Rand feels suggests not) then TP does have the ability manipulate souls. Ofcourse that does not necessarily mean that TP can be used to destroy souls, Ishy could just have been trying to imprison Rand's soul rather than destroy it.
Another case like that is the duel with Asmodean. Rand claims that Asmodean using the CK was trying to rip out his soul. Though again the description could be an exaggeration.
One thing that I do wonder, is there anything to suggest that the pattern can create entirely new souls out of nothing? Or were ALL souls made in the very beginning. Basically if the pattern cannot create new souls, and souls can be destroyed, and the wheel turns sufficiently long, then eventually the pattern will run out of souls. What would happen if someone gets pregnant when there are no more souls left.
I believe this is actually a concept the Jewish and Christian religions talk about (the Chamber of the Guph)... interesting thought actually ...

It could well be a concept rejected by Christians when they split off to follow Jesus.
The movie is from the late 80's and stars Demi Moore! It certainly makes the concept of the Guph seem a part of the book of Revelations.

Might as well throw "Becoming a Grey Man" up there, but nothing short of a free DO could do it, IMO.

Yes, Aran'gar mentioned in KoD that Aginor created those creatures in the AoL as servants.

RJ said that Trolloc souls were tainted, and would always be reborn as Trollocs.
