Uhh. Thank ..I guess. - Edit 1

IMO it's completely wrong. I believe it should be absolutely obvious to anyone that Moridin and SH are separate characters, after reading the books and what the authors said on this matter.
You just read the books any way you want man. All fine and dandy by me. It's just books anyway.

For some reason, a few people always tend to come up with those ideas that Moridin must be Taim, or that Mordin is SH in disguise, or now that Moridin & SH form a Slayer-like creature.
Maybe "For some reason" means these people have a piont?
Heck, if you would have read my first post better in this thread, you'd see I think Taims body was used for the Transmigration, so I guess I think so too! :D
It's just the way I read the books. I'm just a fan, loving the story. Same like you.

In my view those thoughts aren't really supported by any convincing evidence; it's rather just the ambition to come up with a "most original theory" just for the sake of such an idea.
Well. No. I'll have you know I don't give a rats arse about internet-glory, if it even exists. It's a meaningless and fleeting contact you and I have (no offence).

I'm a 34 y/o engineer with a wife and 2 little kids. I'm having 4 weeks off while my wife works the first 1 and saw this topic come along. 99% of the time I'm just reading the threads and I don't even have time or even feel like responing.
What can I win for the "most original theory"? Nothing. I couldn't care less about it. Does it put bread on my shelve or something? I saw this topic/ your first post.. and on a whim, I decided to just write my perspective.

Heck. I've been reading the story I'm trying to show you ever since '94 (when I re-read the Eye for the first time -again on holiday- hehe). If I would have wanted to "invent theories", I would have done it earlier, wouldn't you think?

Plot-wise I don't see any sensible reason why RJ would rather literally want a physical link between Moridin and SH (and later also Rand), instead of simply having Mordin & SH work together very closely, because they follow the same philosophy.
Well. I do, but I won't 'bore' you with the details. You'd all think it bullcrap because you don't read it that way and I'm just out for some non-existant glory on a back-end corner of the Internet. Ha!

I believe you are simply reading too much into a few words, while you ignore the blatant rest or believe it was only stated to fool the ordinary reader, though this hardly makes sense.
Well. It hurts a tad that you view it that way, but that's fine. From where you stand, I do see your point. Either way, it's all fine. Once AMoL will be out, we'll know...and we'll probably not even be here.

Thus you make the whole matter more complicated and convoluted than it actually is, likely just because you became that sold on your pretty far-fetched idea. But we will see...
ONe thing, Etzel. What you view as complicated and convulated, might just be 'cut and dried' to someone else. Ok?

Some people see Patterns within Patterns where others don't even see a pattern in the first place. Even in your -and my- life, you will encounter people who won't see what you think is obvious. *shrugs*
Way of the world I guess.

Cheerio,
Mik -holiday-a-go-gooo-! *)
