I was wondering recently, was RJ a millionaire?
Almost certainly... if an author who sold as many books as RJ isn't one, where does that leave everyone else?
Do writers get some kind of percentage for each book sold?
As RPA mentioned, it probably depends on the contract, but I think generally, yes, they do.
How much do you think RJ made in the 12 months that followed a book release?
Based on book sales, RPG, video games, comic books, movie rights, etc... I would guess probably around $2M/book (at least in the later stages).
