I think I might have the answer:

Before the ceremony at some point, take an Oath Rod and swear the following:

"I hereby swear that I will consider no future Oaths binding."

Or something along those lines.


I don't think that will work. We don't KNOW specifics but considering that the OR was originally intended to force criminals into a specific manner of conduct, what the individual believes about the oath should not be relevent. The oath will regardless be binding as it is a form of compulsion tied into the ability to wield the OP.
