I will bring up the possibility however that drawing and using TP against the DO is somewhat different from the Shadar Logoth thing. I believe that at Aridhol the people actually did evil things right? Torture and all sorts of cruelty. I don't think just using TP once against the DO to save the universe is the same. You could say that its an example of darkness and evil always destroying itself or something.
It'd be like giving the One Ring to Denethor so hecould conquer Mordor and throw down the Barad-Dûr. Foolish, self-destructive and ultimately futile.
Besides, how could you seal off Shai'tan by using power drawn from Shai'tan? The moment it starts to work it would fail because the source of power you're drawing from is getting sealed off.
The first rule of being a ninja is "do no harm". Unless you intend to do harm, then do lots of harm.
