Although I don't think "three shall be one" is definitely related to "He shall hold a blade of light".
At the very least, I think the timing of the two things will be coincidental. From the wording, the "holding the blade of light" doesn't necessarily have to cause the "three to be one" (although I still lean towards that interpretation), but I think the wording at least implies that the two things will occur at roughly the same time. Otherwise, I don't see the point of linking them in one sentence/prophecy.
I also liked your explanation of #1 and two women. I'm too convinced that a woman controlling Callandor and the Dragin being in the back seat kinda defeats the meaning of the Dragon facing the DO.
Yep.
I think that the prophecy is two fold, describing two unrelated (at least directly) things: 1) Rand using Callandor and 2) some "three" becoming some "one" or uniting to be "one".
As I said above, I think the timing of the two events has to be the same, at the very least.
The most logical conculsion I see is this: three become one is referring to Rand+Mat+Perrin as some sort of combined "Champion of Light" persona. Not in direct meaning of the word "persona", but in minds of millions people facing the Last Battle. They eventually will meat up before the Last Battle and will be identified as "one" in terms of leadeship of the Light.
Right, the "one" can be metaphorical, it doesn't have to be literal. But, I still think that something about Rand holding callandor will trigger some key aspect of that unification. "Trigger" might turn out to be a more accurate description than "cause", now that I think about it.

Another major longshot: 3 = the OP, TP, and Mordeth's power. No clue how they would become one. *NM*
