Actually SH can affect/move Sammael's bag with a spear he takes and later even burn this spear with the TP in PoD, ch.40. Thus, he can at least in some way affect objects (maybe not directly with his hands, though? but it's strange then that he can kill the pets...). I guess in any case, that he can only use the TP against objects and DF.
