I really hope this hasn't been discussed already but I know most read KoD long before I did. I accidentally returned the book to the library unfortunately so I can't recall specific details.

Thom's letter from Morriane says that he, Mat and one other are needed to rescue her from the Finn who reside in a realm that can be reached through the Tower of Ghenjei. Another way to get in is through ter'angreal. When you arrive in their realm they ask you if you have light, iron or musical instruments, which I think you are not permitted to have. Then they grant you your 3 questions/wishes depending on the ter'angreal you happened to cross through.

And then we find out that Snakes and Foxes game is loosely based on the Aelfinn and Eelfinn (a game that you can't win without cheating). Before starting the game players chant this little rhyme "Courage to strengthen, fire to blind, music to dazzle, iron to bind". Also, I can't recall when, Birgitte tells Perrin that you can't win Snakes and Foxes without breaking the rules. Is it possible that with these 3 forbidden items they will rescue Morraine? I think that it is safe to say Thom will have the musical instrument, I guess Mat would have the iron, and I think that for the source of light they will end up taking Aludra. I think Noal volunteered to go with them (but I forget lol), but I have a feeling they will figure out the little riddle or some circumstance will cause them to bring her with them instead.
