my pleasure! The Rand-as-Morry idea sounded like a way to answer a few WoT riddles; I became supportive of it when I realized Rand wouldn't have a whole body at the end, no matter what. it's still a fairly sucktastic (read: unsatisfying from the audience's perspective) possibility, though =)
I admit, given a lot of the speculation about Moridin, that this is a possibility. I think it would kinda be a kick in the teeth to WoT fans everywhere if, at the end of it all, Rand was put into the body of the Dark One's Nae Blis. I'm personally very skeptical as to what caused Rand's connection to Moridin (other than the fact they they are the chosen champions of the two opposing dieties. The physical clues, like Moridin stretching his hand after Rand lost his, almost seem to imply that this connection is a more physical and literal connection than a mystical abstract connection. I think the TP or OP might be involved, as well as any number of AoL things we may or may not know about. The connection seems faintly reminiscent of mindtraps.
Nice mindtrap connection. If they can sense each other in any way like the mindtrap, then each guy's "essence" must be in contact with the other, right? I definitely like the way you think, and it lines up with something that's "sort of revealed" in KoD. It looks like RJ wanted to give us all a strong clue on the mystery of Rand's visions and malfunctioning body. RJ still leaves us space to make a few guesses, or doubt that what we're hearing is actually right.
I pretty much believe the crazy LTT voice in Rand's head, and since this sentence sounds so stupid to type, try not to laugh in a mean way: Rand and Moron-din used balefire on something and they "crossed the streams;" the OP and TP coming together like that must've linked them. Nifty idea, sounds so silly to write out.
Rand's conversation with his "inner voice" in KoD (thanks again, encyclopedia wot) pretty much lays all that out, and LTT's reliable on AoL stuff. Rand couldn't have heard the words "true source/power" before, or anywhere else. It's actually shocking and/or impressive that Asmo never told Rand about it, since it's a big deal.
As an aside, their weird connection may really make it necessary for Rand to be blind. Since they can be aware of what the other is doing, there may be a time when Rand will need to be sure it can't happen; or perhaps he'll need to make sure that Morry can't see. I just hope the boy tries a blindfold first.
I digress; I think the connection between them is material, and would not allow the transfer of a complete personality into a new body without some divine intervention, and a lack of divine intervention is what sparked this line of reasoning in the first place
yes, maybe, and exactly =D
I think these clues probably refer to Logain as being the one to come after despite what little evidence there may be for Narishma. Min had her viewing as they fled Tar Valon of him with a crown, signaling glory and greatness to come. We know that both men and women know how to weave a mask of mirrors, invert it, and block the ability to sense they can channel. It is possible, then, that Logain may disguise himself as Rand to be the decoy at TG, and wield Callandor.
It has been made pretty clear IMO that Logain opposes Taim's faction at the Black Tower (duh) and actually strongly supports the Light, possibly to the point of being willing to risk his life to help Rand buy some time at TG, and best of all he is still sane! Admittedly, there are holes in this theory just like any other... thoughts?
I agree that for all his friction with Rand, Logain's definitely on the lightside. But I think there's a decent case for Narishma since there's plenty of stuff that Logain can "earn" for himself. I've assumed for a long while that he'll run the BT after Rand is gone, and that would be pretty glorious by itself. I also toyed with the idea that he'll receive a lot of the hero-worship Rand gets, or maybe get credit for something Rand did. This might happen i.e., if he kills a Forsaken on the TG battlefield (I hope it's not Rand in Morry's body).
RJ seemed to really want to use more of his ridiculously huge cast, and give them "meaty" material. So I figured Narishma would have more to do with the Sword (maybe at TG) and/or Rand, while Logain would be the guy to take Taim down and run the BT. Given all the good guys have to do, there's plenty of glorious acts to go around, don't you think?

This may deserve its own thread, but is the Dragon a Hero of the Horn? Are any Channelers Heroes?

I always took this to indicate that the channelers have active trait potential for Pattern-twisting
