The windfinders played a significant role both in exposing what life for the mainlander channelers would be like chained, and creating a valid diversion for the entire Matt vs Tuon thread. I think the entire "bargain" turned out to be a fizzled plotline when the net result was spoiled food for the Domani and not much else. I can only hope when the last battle begins, the Sea Folk are called upon again to do something more productive. (Whats not to like about them...topless graceful women who have the best balance of power with the opposite sex than any other culture in the world...sign me up)
Are the Sea Folk important?
