Re: the problem with your working out how strong they are is that it always begins with how much - Edit 1

The latter, at least, is all-important to sidious.
which I don't understand ... I find the weaker Channelers to be generally more interesting characters. Look how much Verin accomplished without being either pretty or strong in the OP!
Of course you don't understand it, because I've never said it or implied it. Your first mistake was allowing yourself to believe a post by a notoriously nasty and extremist poster.
Dude, you are constantly going on about the importance of OP strength. Practically every chance you get. Get your panties out of a twist, I don't see things the same way you do, but I'm not here to attack you... just making some observations.
I find it to be an irritating observation. If by trying to work out how strong the channelers are you mean 'the importance of OP strength', then you are accurate.
stronger you can make Lanfear!
We've found each other irritating since day one Sidious, it happens ... grow a sense of humor about this, you take it entirely too seriously! I'm not trying to personally attacking you (hell I've never met you), just pointing out that over the years you've consistently tried to make excuses for several of the Forsaken and you've over and over again skewed your thoughts to "Lanfear being vastly stronger" ... I simply don't think she needs to be VASTLY more powerful than the others to be an interesting character.
In fact I think the wider you make the gap between her and the other women, the less remarkable I think she actually is! I think Moghedien is is ultimately a better villain since she's done so much with so little on your scale.
I've got a great sense of humour. I just don't see the point of going off on a tangent that is ultimately not useful in this debate. What's there to laugh at? If you want to discuss Lanfear's power, make a post and we'll chat.
For the record, I care very little for Lanfear's strength - and WoT as a whole. I'd say my passion for this series is on the verge of vanishing permanently. If I wasn't an admin who needed to tend to the board, I find it very unlikely that I'd come here. I'm certainly not going to fight for Lanfear's strength as I did three years ago.
