Fun - Did anyone else read these books to the exclusion of all else? - Edit 1

Okay, I know this sounds weird, but my dad bought me New Spring (not knowing it was a prequel) and I read it first towards the end of my second semester of college a couple years ago. I failed my second semester because I would drive to the college, read until class started, and then skip class because, as we all know, there are major plot-mover's throughout all the novels well spaced about an hour of hard reading apart. I would read all day, skip all my classes, have my boyfriend drive us home (while I read in the car), and then read most of the afternoon (while he bitched and complained) and then went home and read most of the night.
next day, rinse and repeat.
Screwed off my GPA pretty good and almost screwed up my love life, but I read books 1-11 in under 2 months and had to wait almost 3 years for the next one. And it sounds crazy, but I think it was worth it. Fixed my GPA anyway.
Anyone else spend waaaay too much time reading these novels?
