That is a very good question Mr. Wombat, sir.
Here is my list.
1. Rand: Tarwin's Gap, Forsaken removal, Cleansing
2. Nynaeve: Bowl of Winds, Cleansing, Some Forsaken removal, helping to keep Rand sane
3. Egwene: Fixed and healed WT (at least started to), BA purged
4. Verin: BA purge and give info about DF networks as well.
5. Moiraine: Forsaken removal, helped to train Rand
6. Cadsuane: Helping to keeping Rand sane. Involvement with cleansing.
7. Elayne: Driving force behind Bowl of winds, helped keep Moggy captured. (Although perhaps it would have been best if she didn't make the a'dam and Moggy was executed.) Bringing a nation in chaos to the good side, minor instruction to Rand. (OK, I inflated her a little since she is my favorite character; yet I don't think that she can be objectively moved much further down.)
8. LTT(Voice in Rand's head) Maybe can be moved higher. Greatest contribution is on Dragonmount at end of TGS.
9. Tam: Important role in bringing Rand back from the brink
10. The sea folk windfinder who used the Bowl of the winds.
Here is how I think they changed with numbers pulled out of my hat to describe how much I think the damage they did to the shadow changed from before tGS to after.
Verin: +15 Came out of nowhere to help dismantle BA and may lead to dismantling of a good portion of DF network.
Egwene: +8. We have been suspecting that she would do this for a while, but the reuniting of the tower the punishing of the Seanchen and the purging of the BA. A very bad day for the shadow.
Rand: 0. Removal of two Forsaken was good, but the black aura and its destructiveness counters that.
Moraine: +0.5. She didn't even appear yet Rand's PoV and others made clear that we probably underestimated how important she was to Rand.
LTT: +7 (If we may include him as a separate character.) Another voice that came out of nowhere to save the day on Dragonmount.
Tam: +50. Who would expect Tam to play such a pivotal role as to play an important role in 'curing' Rand.
Cadsuane: +5. People might not think that her effort to help Rand find himself was not that important of a win. Yet the DO probably sacrificed Semirhage for that very reason. The event at Dragonmount may be as important or more than any other strike against the DO. Cadsuane deserves some of the credit for setting this up.

So who has done the most damage to the DO and how has tGS changed that?
