Rand tells e.g. a Myrddraal in EotW, ch.34: "The Light blast you...". Or Weiramon in LoC, ch.4: "Light-blasted fools!"
If RJ used these expressions, I think one could argue it's legitimate for a Randlander to just say "blast" as a swear word. But I agree that BS uses "blast" or "blasted something" more excessive than RJ.

"blast it all" or "blast" is used in place of f**k
light-blasted is pretty much literal, they have been blasted by the Light, there is no swear word that could be subbed in
either way i didn't notice it and although i see your point, sort of, i think that blast is a valid swear substitute regardless of having blasters or the like. it's a fairly well known if archaic exclamation in britain
