The full of her being was already there. She didn't leave her body behind to enter TAR. Everything that made her, was in the world of dreams. So it would be possible that she was there 'in the flesh'.

Or maybe the wheel decided to spin her out in that painful manner and give her a different birth. According to Min, this has happened before.
