First. I like your theory. I've not seen anyone reflect on the use of the sharom in this way.

I don't know what to say but maybe the Choedan Kal could be used to create, as you say, some sort of analogue to the sharom, just like that thing Rand created to cleanse saidin. Lews TT and company accepted using a method that would result in heavy losses in manpower. 10 000 warmen and a whole bunch of male channelers to protect those who did the sealing from whatever the Dark One and Thakan'dar threw at them. :darkone:

Of course they didn't expect the taint.
Therefore I think Rand will want to reseal the Bore in a different way.

The Choedan Kal will most certainly be used in some sort of way. Maybe creating a free space to operate within??
But I do not think the sealing will be done with the CK because of the loss of the female ter'angreal (if someone doesn't dare use it directly of course). So what I'm saying is that if both saidar and saidin is to be used in the sealing it will have to be without the CK.

And without those two biggest power-artifacts at their disposal our heroes will have to find a different way. And that's where I find your suggestion that something else might be needed to heal the hole in the Pattern.

One possible thing would be that a soul is needed to fix the Bore. I'm thinking of Rands :rand: soul in this case, but that is speculation that probably doesn't stand on firm ground. Please comment!

But we still don't know if the Bore can be sealed again. Lews damned himself for trying to recreate what the Creator had made and therefore caused the Breaking.

Rand will then have to do what Lews couldn't.

On a side note, Jordan stated that if female channelers had been involved in sealing the Bore when the taint occured, saidar too would have been tainted. Rand will have to find a way to avoid something like that happening again.

Rant, rant...
Feel free to disagree.:reading:
