What will be interesting is if and how Sanderson's writing will change after having done the WoT novels. I think all authors change and grow during their careers. I wonder if we will be able to see "jordanesque" influences in Sanderson's future books.


His test-readers and editors have said that THE WAY OF KINGS reads much more 'Jordanesque' than his earlier novels, and this influence is a good thing.
