Like I already said on the OtherFantasy board at wotmania (the older ones among you may remember that site), I have quite a few ideas about what kind of things we could write about on this board.

To lazily quote myself: "I am thinking about posting movie and TV news, trailers, reviews, maybe quizzes, posts about new episodes of shows we like, and so on. And so should you. Any ideas are welcome."

Maybe I should add that humor is more than welcome, as long as it is TV or Movie based. Also: the themes of the shows or films do not have to be fantasy or Sci Fi. Why not talk about the last serious drama you saw? An interesting documentation? A talk show? Celebrity news, if you feel so inclined. I didn't talk this through with the big man yet, but for starters I won't feel like locking a lot of threads, just because they only touch our topic narrowly. Just have fun.

Be polite to others and treat them with respect. Yes, you can write and hate on any film you want here, but realize that others may disagree and that you are not preaching the ultimate truth. I feel I had to add this bit after seeing quite a few threads get ugly in the recent past. I hope it's the last time this topic comes up.

Handle spoilers with care and not in the title of your posts or replies. Some people, including me actually, may not always see everything the same day you did.

Also, tell your friends about us, if they are movie or TV fans. Maybe they'd enjoy discussing the final season of Lost this winter, or the next huge blockbuster. Maybe someone wants to introduce a little known gem or explain what he connects with a movie everyone knows. Maybe I should start with The Phantom Menace
