SPOILER ALERT
Agree on most of the points, though I find Walt's handling of his divorce to be absurd. The stuff he goes through hardens a man so that if a man's wife says she fucked her boss....there would be approximately .5 seconds of silence before the back of Walt's hand encountered her face.
The hard-ball drug manufacturer Walt and pushover husband is an interesting, if totally unrealistic character.
I would put Breaking bad as the third best series on TV today, behind Dexter & Mad Men

Yes, but that was just the last episode. I think he was more stunned than anything. I can;t wait to see how he handles it coming up.
I am still not convinced he is really THAT hard anyways, not yet. He has been slowly transforming through the first two seasons (which is them main part I am fascinated with as a student of psychology). We see flashes of his hardening but he is still part wimpy high school science teacher.
I've never seen Mad Men but I see the same fate for Breaking bad as I do for Dexter. Dexter is clearly running out of story; how long can they carry it on and make it believable. I think the same goes for Breaking Bad. another season or two and it will be so unbelievable that it won't be worth watching anymore.
But wine was the great assassin of both tradition and propriety...

I'm wondering if you have any idea where the name comes from, or how it relates to the show?
