There is a part in the beginning in the ape scenes where they are jumping around as before and everything is kosher and then suddenly one of the guys in a suit actually stands up and takes a few steps like a man. It is like he/she suddenly realizes or something and drops back into the role and kind of hop/jumps around like the others. Great scene, I was quite inebriated when I saw that. I had a nice laughing fit about it.

But wine was the great assassin of both tradition and propriety...

You do understand the beginning of the movie and why it was necessary, yes? *NM*

I liked the beginning well enough. The ending, not so much.

The transition you mentioned is one of the best ever put to film

The part where he keeps seeing himself getting older was really cool.
