Ok, so we've settled some of last week's discussions about what would happen. Some of us won't be happy with the beginning, but I liked the episode. There were a couple little meh parts, but most of it was good. They walked a fine line trying to keep up the drama while injecting the typical humor. That said, the drama was mostly well done.
It's hard to see how they will keep this momentum going, but it looks like they are going for Funny in the next show, so we'll find out. <3 mummies.

)Right when I was submitting it too...anyways, as I was trying to post earlier, I thought the humor was out of place in this episode. For instance, the very beginning starts with Castle busting down the door and waving his hand from the heat of the fire. He doesn't even know if Kate is alive and he is acting comically. Also, when he finds her naked in the bath tub, there is an awkward moment as she tries to find something to wear. Again, the humor was out of place for such an intense moment. But I do love the humor of this show. They kind of slipped from that fine line this episode but hey, I still love it.
I agree about the fine line, but I also still loved it.
It's a good show.
