so far I've been liking it, but having seen the other FMA series its seems pretty familiar so far. About how far do I have to go before it starts to be different from the first FMA anime?
Episode 8 with the Fifth Laboratory is also different for Ed doesn't try to create a philosopher stone in Brotherhood like he did in the first anime (remember he goes super sayan when he touches the red liquid and is saved by LT Ross hug)
Episode 13 introduces Greed and following Greed the story is very different than the first anime.
Episode 15 introduces three new main characters who aren't in the first anime besides a non speaking cameo.
Episode 19 proves Mustang is a complete and utter badass which sadly isn't shown that well in the first anime.
Episode 33 introduces a new location and a whole new arc of characters who weren't in the first anime. These characters make Mustang look like a puppy dog
Currently the show just finished episode 50 and it is going on for another 13 episodes before competing the story.
So who here is watching Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood?
