2) I played Livia, who was married to GAIUS Octavian, aka Caesar Augustus.
3) In "I, CLAUDIUS" (extremely large BBC miniseries) I costarred with John Hurt who played Caligula (that name was a nickname meaning "little boots" ) who starred in Alien where he was first victim of the chestburster.
4) Also in "I, Claudius" was Bernard Hill who played the captain of the Titanic and later played King Theoden in the Lord of the Rings, which starred John Rhys-Davies who was also in "I, Claudius"
5) Patrick Stewart, who was in "I, Claudius" also worked with me in Dune directed by David Lynch who also directed John Hurt in The Elephant Man for which Hurt received his 2nd Oscar nomination.
6) The man who played my husband in "I, Claudius" was Brian Blessed who played Prince Voltan, Boss Nass, and Augustus (the husband in "I, Claudius" ). It was when he played Prince Voltan in Flash Gordon that Brian costarred with Topol who was in Fiddler on the Roof as Tevye (the songs "Tradition" and "If I Were a Rich Man" ).
