earliest memory...seeing Old Yeller at the Stamford Theater. I think I was 5. Bawled like a little girl when they had to shoot him.
Aww, I can understand that. I did that during Bambi, apparently. They tell me I shrieked and held onto the theater seats- "I"m not leaving until they bring Bambi's mother back!"
Two years later, saw Darby O'Gill and the Little People at the Drive-In. The banshee and the Death Coach scared the living hell out of me.
I... um, sure.
1972...Stood in line for two hours to see Deliverance. When Burt Reynold's arrow came out the chest of the redneck who said, "y'all got a purty mouth" to Jon Voight, the roar in the theater was deafening. Loudest I've ever heard. Closest was when Darth Vader threw the Emperor down the central shaft of the Death Star at the end of Return of the Jedi. Closest-but nowhere near as loud.
I still haven't seen that, but I guess that's proof why it's still around and popular now- I didn't realize it was that powerful.
Most memorable movie moments?

Sadly, when I see your name on the boards now, I think "Team Jacob". *NM*

Ha! I'm probably one of two other people here who've also seen "Darby O'Gill and the Little People". *NM*
