Chrisotph Waltz definitely deserved his win, that was an amazing performance.
And while I didn't see some of the movies the actresses were nominated in, Sandra Bullock was fantastic in The Blind Side and I have always liked her and was happy she won.
And as for Hurt Locker Vs. Avatar, both were terrific films but for very different reasons. I can see why the voters went with The Hurt Locker, it is the more polished film, not a wasted camera angle or bit of storyline in that movie. I enjoyed Avatar as much as anyone and it will be one of those movies that I will watch again and again, but The Hurt Locker was simply brilliant.
