This was unimaginative, ridiculous and obvious, with zero suspense.

I wouldn't bother watching it again, because it was not even a well-crafted "twist." Rather than a twist which plays by the rules with purloined-letter-type hints, this is a "big reveal" kind of twist, where the twist is "because the filmmakers say so." It was obvious from very early in the movie where they were going with the plot and the truth of DiCaprio's character, and the revelation scene's explanation of the story we just watched was incredibly implausible.
It isn't enough that Scorsese won an Oscar for badly ripping-off another film, now it seems to have gone to his head and he thinks he is all clever and artistic.
