As I said to Comet, according to wiki Shanon was number 31 and is now crossed through. I wonder if you had to die to get eliminated or if you could fail in other ways as well.
The mystery of Kate not being a candidate remains.


Someone put some ridiculous amounts of time into determining the crossed-out candidates. Check out the link below (which I got to by following ironclad's link to Shannon's page, then clicking on a link in Shannon's profile for 'candidates' ).

So, it would seem death is not the only reason you can get crossed off, because LINUS and STRAUME are there as well (granted, that could be Roger Linus, but Straume was not Miles' parents' last name--that was Chang, which is also there).
The chief difficulty Alice found at first was in managing her flamingo.
