So that was it with the Carnival season. There were some glimpses of goodness in the last two episodes but also some more plot holes and unbelievable character developments.
Making Sylar good again is the right decision, I think. I always found they should have stuck with that when he was seeing Kristen Bell. A couple of heroes working together at the end is what this show needs more of. Not one doing his little drama here and another one dealing with her own little problems there, like in majority of the last two seasons.
So now the world knows there are specials, thanks to Claire. Where this will take the show, we'll have to see. The To Be Continued sign at the end implies that there will be more in fall. I guess it would have worked as an definitive ending, too.

It would be a somewhat dignified end to a series that lost its way. I vote to end.
