I can't say I ever skipped doing anything else or eagerly anticipated a Smallville ep (excepting a few mythology-significant eps) the way I have with Lost, Supernatural and even early episodes of Heroes. But it showed some promise early on before Clark stayed hung up on Lana too long and what should have been Metropolis Season 1 stayed Smallville Seasons 5-.
