It's a slow TV time for a couple weeks, so I figured I'd ask you guys what you watch your TV on.
1) What kind of TV do you have? (brand, size, picture technology, etc)
23" Samsung Full-HD LCD, basically a 16:9 computer monitor with a regular and a DVB-T tuner added on. I was planning on getting a computer monitor anyway so why not get TV connectivity as well?
2) What side of the Plasma vs LCD argument do you fall on?
I don't see much of a use for plasma under 40", which is where I'll stick for quite a while.
3) Do you plan a TV upgrade anytime soon?
Nah, this'll have to stay my TV for at least three years or so.
4) Have you upgraded to Blu-Ray yet?
Definitely not! My next A/V purchase will probably be a stand-alone DVD player with HDMI.
5) How big is your DVD/Blu-Ray library?
Dvd: About 20 titles
6) Aren't Blu-Ray disks ridiculously overpriced still?? I mean $30+ for a new movie when you can get the DVD for like 1/2 that?? What's up with that?
I have no idea, I rarely even buy DVDs at full price and have no clue of how much Bluray discs are.
7) Am I alone in thinking a lot of movies aren't worth the additional premium it costs to get the modest upgrade in picture?
Not at all.
I guess that's it...not much, but at least it's something to talk about.
