I don't, by the way, but it seems socially acceptable to do so.
My Christian worldview is somewhat disconnected in media, at least to the extent of not expecting stories or characters to hold to my values. There are limits to what I'd visually consume, of course, but I don't read myself into every story. Excessive vulgarity, nudity or heavy-handed pseudo-morality turn me off. Otherwise, I tend to endure and [i]then[/i] pass judgment.
