I get your point on Dogville too... I just really hate the movie still... I find it pretentious and odd, and for me it gets in the way of the story and the acting... But, I admit, I don't care much for dramas, so I probably shouldn't say anything....

But I think your list lacks some good Nordic movies....

Flåklypa Grand Prix, it inspired some great scenes in The Phantom Menace, and George Lucas loved it when he saw it.

Elling is just cute, and it did not bore me to death, besides, the world wouldn't die from seeing how welfare should work... ;)

Jerusalem, Swedish movie bye Bille August, I've not seen it for a decade now, but I remember loving it.

And Svidd Neger! Need I say more? ;)

I know there are more, but old as I am, I've forgotten them!
