Tim Burton is still working on the movie - and it will be up in only a year or so. I hadnt heard anything about it since before the economical crisis and Alice in Wonderland and all that so I thought it had been canceled.

And yes: The vampiretrend can be a bit exhausting, but I'll be very upset if someone says "Oh, no not another vampire-movie". Dark Shadows is so much older and so much more. They have Chtulumonsters too. But probably not in the movie. And they have orange tent-dresses! But they might do the fashion a bit different in a new production.

And it is a bit scary when they do something new on something really old that you love, but I think Tim Burton can pull it off. The remake from the 90'ies was a disaster, but the producers there missed the whole point of the series. I think this will be much much better.
