1. What is your favourite classic TV sitcom (by "classic" I generally mean anything before 2000 and the reality TV/medical drama/HBO-ization/cable dilution of the market phenomena)? Why?
I think I'd have to say, even though it's not really "classic", Frasier.2. Who is your favourite classic TV character? (Not necessarily from the same sitcom as above)
Uncle Fester from The Addams Family.3. Do you like watching re-runs of old TV shows? If so, what are a few you like watching?
Of course. Friends, Frasier, Seinfeld, even older ones like Gilligan's Island, Leave it to Beaver, the Brady Bunch, I Love Lucy, etc.
4. Do you own any TV sitcoms on DVD? If so, which ones?
A lot. I have Friends, Frasier, Seinfeld, The Addams Family, Gilligan's Island, The Brady Bunch, I Dream of Jeannie and a few others that I'll think of after posting this I'm sure.5. What decade would you consider the "golden age" of the sitcom?
The 1960s. Think about it - The Addams Family vs. The Munsters, Jeannie vs. Samantha (Bewitched), Leave it to Beaver (started in 1957, but still on in the early 1960s), Mr. Ed, My Favorite Martian, Gilligan's Island, Dick Van Dyke, Green Acres, Andy Griffith, My Three Sons, The Beverly Hillbillies, the Flinstones, the Jetsons, Gomer Pyle, and even the Brady Bunch (Starting in 1969, it just makes it).6. Laugh tracks - irritating or bearable?
Irritating. Just irritating.7. What sitcom did you hate the most and why?
Oh, there are so many terrible ones. I could never stand Taxi or WKRP in Cincinnati, though.8. What character on a TV sitcom irritated you the most and why?
There are so many promising candidates from Green Acres and the Beverly Hillbillies, and I could add the entire cast of Full House. ALF is another one I couldn't stand.9. Which evil twin or brother/sister did you like best and why?
Jeannie's sister10. What spinoff do you think was the best? The worst?
Frasier. It was better than the original show, Cheers. That's it. Switch your main dials to U and then set your UHF dial to 50.
I'm ready for some public access crap now!
Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.

Although quite absurd, "Knight Rider" wasn't technically a sitcom
