I'm looking to maybe go with someone, if you know what I mean :shy: But I'm not the biggest fan of rom coms (favorites are pretty much limited to Garden State and... uh... Garden State), so I was wondering more about interesting, quirky, well-made films. Problem is, I can't think of a single title like that set to come out in December/January. Help?


Sherlock Holmes with Robert Downey Jr, Jude Law, and Rachel McAdams is coming out on Christmas Day. I am SUPER EXCITED FOR THIS. :D

I'll also throw in two more questions and make this a mini survey.

2. What are your favorite romantic comedies? Ones that perhaps defy the cliches of the genre? (I'm sure there are others besides Garden State, but none are coming to me.)


Hmmm ... this is hard because I usually don't watch/like romantic comedies. Probably Pride and Prejudice, if that even counts. The Princess Bride? Does that count? :P

3. What's your favorite Christmas movie?
