I mean, so many were so good...my favorites were Jaynestown, Out of Gas, War Stories, The Message, and Objects in Space. If I had to pick just one of those...I guess it would be Objects in Space. I think that episode had everything, it was sad, it was funny, it was tense...it was everything I loved about the series all wrapped up in one really awesome episode.
As for Castle...sorry, I don't watch.

There's a lot to like about The Message, no doubt about it. It has all the makings of an awesome episode. But I always get caught up on the fact that the entire tension with Tracy near the end hinges 100 percent on the fact that Mal doesn't just open his mouth and tell Tracy the plan. I know it wouldn't have made for a very exciting episode, loses all the dramatic tension, and doesn't let Mal be carrying the bullet that ends him, but it's the simplest solution in the entire verse. And when all the tension relies on a problem that has a simple and beyond-obvious solution, but no one takes advantage of it, it irks me, just a little.
