I never really cared for this episode, but re-watching it has definitely changed my opinions. Seeing Data after he was infected is hi-larious, and Captain Picard and Dr. Crusher together was great too. On a side note, what the heck is that weird laughing sound when they're in his ready room?!
I'm not a huge fan of Season 1 TNG. Its too campy for me...and just a hair away from the cheesiest of TOS. This would be a good example....
How in the world is Data infected with a biological virus? Really now...
But Picard & Crusher....good times there...although I don't like how she constantly calls herself "CMO". *shrug*
There are other parts of season 1 which are lame...Angel 1, anytime that Troi is on screen...she has some lame accent. Let's see...the first time we see Worf do that yell thing for the newly dead. Weak.
There are a few good episodes...Skin of Evil comes to mind, and then the last one with those little animal thing. That could be a great jumping board...
