So this is how we experienced the remake of the 80s show

Just Jens: did you watch V yet?
Anso: Yep, did you?
Just Jens: yeah and it left me very unimpressed
Anso: Exactly my thought, Not impressed, not excited
Just Jens: someone spoiled Wash being an alien for me, that would have been the only shocker. and the teenage kid already annoyed me
Anso: Ah, that was bad! At least I didnt know that. And yes. And everyone was very stereotype so far. And I have a feeling that they'll do everything very careful, making things boring to not make the series bad if you get what I mean
Just Jens: I may give the second episode a shot, havent decided yet, but it doesnt look good.
Anso: I'll see a few episodes. Dollhouse didnt look good either in the beginning. But so far Im just bored with it.
Just Jens: yeah sometimes stuff has to grow, but the characters didnt exactly blow me away :/ too bad...
Anso: No they seemed extremely two-dimensional, and the story wasnt exciting either
Just Jens: I have a hard time believing the government would allow ticket sales to fun rides to the mother ship day 1 after aliens showed up on earth
Anso: Lol, yeah. but wasnt that after 3 weeks?
Just Jens: it may have been. in which case the show is damn rushed!

Sophy being nostalgic about the old show and us laughing at old clips of it.

Anso: And it seems to be more cowardly done this time. They want to make a series that people watch without overthinking.
Just Jens: yeah they didnt risk much
Anso: And that way it never gets good
Just Jens: I mean in a pilot you gotta take the audience by the shoulder and shake shake shake them!
Anso: exactly!!! Not just present a couple of characters that might do something interesting in the future but probably wont
Just Jens: precisely
