A lot of political talk in this episode but also quite a few interesting developments.
Janis is a lesbian after all, and has a pretty hot date. Her FF, and her dates' knowledge of it, keeps her from going into a relationship though. I wonder why that was such a big deal for the ladies. I mean it could have been "their" baby after all.
Asian looking attackers wound her badly at the end of the episode. I hope she lives. I like her.

Yeah, I didn't understand her reaction either. I understand that such a vision is something that she is having difficulty coming to grips with, especially given this episodes revelation about her sexuality, but it seems nonsensical to completely flip out when her date asks about the vision. If it was something she was so completely unwilling to talk about, why would she go ahead and post it on Mosaic with her name attached?
The rest of the crew shoots their way out of a an attack of similar looking guys in DC. Before that we learned that Stanford covered an affair of the president and now uses that knowledge to blackmail him into keeping "Mosaic" alive. Interesting new level to the character.
That scene confused me the way it was filmed. It really looked like the attackers blew up their car with an RPG or whatever, and then as it's sitting there burning suddenly out of the car and spread out to either side returning fire and taking down their attackers. Did they get our of the car earlier, was that a different car or am I just completely out of it?
There seemed to be a bit more to the relationship between Stanford and the woman the President had an affair with / her son. He came in the house, picked up the boy and seemed to be pretty well known to him. It just in general seemed a much closer relationship than that of cover-up artist and the woman he paid off. I expect more developments on that front.
Someone anonymous texts Mark's wife that he has been drinking in his FF. Right after he tells Stanford about it, hmm.
As someone said earlier, he seemed to be with Stanford from the the time he told him about the vision onwards, and would have noticed. Also, putting that scene directly after we see him telling Stanford about seems to be just begging for the viewers to make that connection. It could very well be Aaron. We see him earlier telling Mark that he needs to be honest with his wife about what he saw, and now that the wife has confronted him about Mark's behavior and is obviously very upset about it he may be trying to give Mark the kick in the ass he needs to try and hold his marriage together.
The senator bitch investigating in the necessity of "Mosaic" turns vice president and claims to be president in her FF. But we also see the president still being president in his FF. Curious. Under which conditions, other than death, does the vice take over in the US?
Agreed, she could be lying but her elevation to Vice President makes me think she was not. I'm certainly no expert, but as I understand it the Vice President can be elevated if the President is incapacitated in any way. If this incapacity isn't declared by the President himself (ie having surgery and elevates the Vice President until his faculties return), it has to be declared by the Vice President and supported by a majority of the Presidential Cabinet.
Did the president call for the attackers and ordered them to look Asian because China was one of the suspects for the blackout in the senate hearing anyway?
I assumed the attack was not ordered by the President and was instead related to the Somali satellite photos that Mark and Janis were looking into. The attacks were simultaneous and seemed aimed at the two people most intimately involved in the project. If it were something the President had ordered, what reason did he have for hitting Janis as well? Or was that just coincidental>
