So, I just got home from seeing this movie with my 3.5 year old niece.
I liked it (and so did Abbey!), and was happy with the way Jonez managed to expand a 9 sentence story into a feature length film. I thought the kid they cast as Max was great, and the Wild Things looked totally awesome. I was also glad to see that Sendak was one of the producers.
So, who's seen it and how did you feel about it?

I felt the monsters didn't show their terrible yellow eyes enough.
Otherwise, it was amazing. <3
