A man so cool, his name is now a verb, as in, "I was stuck, so I Macguyver'ed it using some chewing gum, dental floss, and a banana peel." My whole family loved the series...it was an actual 'family watching experience.' How can I forget his cool beat-that,-Bourne escapes, his vile nemesis Murdoc, and his late-in-the-series time traveling (or was it?) back to Arthurian England, in which we finally learn his first name and he leaves behind a Swiss Army knife. I mean, the ultimate of cool. And sooo attractive.
I'll always have fond memories of the PBS program 'Nature', with the resonant, wise voice of George Page telling me about lions of the savannah. Another happy childhood memory.
But back to the land of fiction, I'll always love 'Voltron', even if it was a 30 minute toy commercial. And 'Little House on the Prairie." 'Pa Ingalls' was the best TV pa ever, and ooooh that evil Nelly!
