Him being dead would just lead so many plots threads into nowhere

View original postIf he's really part Targaryen, what will probably happen when they burn him (because they burn everyone now to keep them from getting back up as walkers) is it will heal him and he will stand up, alive and naked. I'm guessing that even some of the people who stabbed him will probably think twice about their betrayal.
Burning people makes sense, but does it actually heal someone? Or even bring him back? I thought Tararyen were simple immune to it. That'd a fantastic scene to start off the season of course and to solve that theory.
I wonder how they could possibly keep it under wraps that the actor returns, though. Especially considering how vocal he is about not returning.
View original postConsidering that virtually no POV characters die, I think Jon is too critical for the series to just kill off, even if the TV series has a different ending than the books.
Say that to Caitlyn! although, yeah technically, she didn't either....

I really doubt Jon's dead, even in the TV series.

I don't even think Targaryens ARE immune to burning, but Melisandre was right there...
