I actually thought it wasn't so good. Tom Send a noteboard - 15/06/2015 05:23:20 PM

Unlike Episodes 8 and 9, there wasn't much that we didn't already know from the books. Arya goes blind. Check. Dany meets the khalasar. Check. Jon is stabbed (to death?). Check. Cersei takes her walk of shame. Check. Mountainstein lives. Check. Myrcella is likely dead (not in the books), but we knew from the beginning of the season that she would be killed. Varys didn't murder Kevan Lannister or Grand Maester Pycelle, nor will he likely do so. Stannis is almost certainly dead (but maybe Brienne hacked at the tree?) and we at least know his army really lost, but that was never something most people cared about.

Compare that with Episode 8's Walkerfest and Episode 9's amazing Tyrion-Dany storyline, and it's sort of disappointing.

Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.

– Procopius
